Ticket FAQ

Phil Clarkin-2939

Welcome

Welcome to Wakarusa’s official Ticket FAQ. This page exists to try and guide you through the ticket purchasing process. We understand that there is a lot of info and can be a little confusing… but fear not, we have a team full of lovely-ladies waiting to walk you through the purchasing process if you need any additional help.

Let’s get started…

Let us help you determine which combination of passes you will need to enter Wakarusa!

General Admission

VIP

If you have questions please contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434 or info@wakarusa.com

“Festival” includes the concerts, late night concerts, scheduled activities, campgrounds, and parking lot. You cannot enter the festival – or any part of the festival – without an Event Pass per person and a Camping Pass or a Parking Pass per vehicle. You cannot come without an Event Pass and “just hang out with friends.” You cannot come and “just set up camp.”

Please note: Box Trucks are not allowed on the festival grounds.

I'm still not clear on GA and VIP passes...

General Admission

Each person entering the festival requires their own Event Pass such as Full Event or Three Day. All ages, including children of any age, require a paid admission ticket.

In addition to each person having their own Event Pass, every vehicle entering the festival requires a Camping Pass or a Parking Pass such as Main Venue, West Woods, or Day Parking. Up to 5 people can ride in one vehicle and split the cost of camping or parking. RVs and other oversized vehicles require an RV Pass. Camping Passes are good for the whole weekend, so you need to buy only one camping pass for the weekend; you do not need to purchase a Camping Pass for each night.

VIP

Each person entering the festival requires their own VIP Pass, and that’s it! Specially priced Children VIP tickets are available for children ages 1-16. All adults ages 17 and older require a full priced VIP Pass.

Camping is included in the VIP ticket cost, so there is no need to purchase any additional camping passes with VIP if you are coming in a standard vehicle such as a car, truck or SUV.

Please give the ladies at Pipeline Ticketing a call to discuss bringing a RV into VIP. We are open M-F 11am-4pm CST. You can reach us by phone at 785-749-3434 or email at info@wakarusa.com

BASIC TICKET FAQ

What kind of ticket do I need for my vehicle?

General Admission

Up to five people may ride in one vehicle and split the cost of the Camping Pass.

Don’t forget! Each person riding in the vehicle also requires their own Event Pass to enter the festival. “Festival” includes the campgrounds, concert fields, day parking and everything in between.

Please note: Box Trucks are not allowed on the festival grounds.

  2. Any size Bus
  3. Any vehicle wider or longer than a normal
    15 passenger van
  4. Any vehicle towing a trailer, camper, RV or 5th wheel of any size. If you’re hitching anything, it’s an RV.

Any vehicle over 60 feet in length.
This 60 feet must include any hitched trailers or campers in the total length.

Don’t forget! VIP Passes are a per person cost.

When can I enter the festival? When are gate times?

General Admission
Don’t forget! Each person requires their own Event Pass to enter the festival, and each vehicle requires a Camping Pass. Up to 5 people can ride in one vehicle and split the cost of camping. “Festival” includes the campgrounds, concert fields, day parking and everything in between.

If you have this Event Pass with this Camping Pass then your Gate Time is:
Full Event Reserved Campsite Wednesday June 3rd, 4:00 pm
Full Event RV Unreserved @ Main Venue Wednesday June 3rd, 4:00 pm
Full Event RV Unreserved @ Riverside Wednesday June 3rd, 4:00 pm

Two Day ANY camping pass Saturday June 6th, 8:00 am

In a nutshell: You cannot enter the festival, or any part of the festival, before your listed gate time. You cannot come early and “just set up camp for the night.” If you arrive before your gate time, you will be turned around.

VIP
Don’t forget! VIP Passes are a per person cost.

If you have this VIP Pass then your Gate Time is:
VIP Full Event Wednesday June 3rd, 4:00 pm
VIP Children Wednesday June 3rd, 4:00 pm
VIP Three Day Friday June 5th, 8:00 am

In a nutshell: You cannot enter the festival, or any part of the festival, before your listed gate time. You cannot come early and “just set up camp for the night.” If you arrive before your gate time, you will be turned around.
VIP Three Day does not include Wednesday or Thursday arrival privileges.

Why don't you have single day tickets?
Single day tickets such as “Friday Only” are not available for purchase. We cater our ticket sales to those who come and camp the whole weekend with us; hence music and camping festival. Mulberry Mountain is a very rural and beautiful setting, and is best experienced by long stays.
Are kids free? Is there a Family Camping area?
No. All ages, including children of any age, require a paid admission ticket. A Family Campground is no longer provided. If you are bringing children to the festival, we suggest that you choose West Woods Camping or Riverside Camping since both of these campgrounds are more quiet and secluded than Main Venue Camping.
I have questions about the festival, but not about buying tickets.
Please visit our Festival FAQ that covers more festival information such as our rules, pet policies, directions, and more! If you still have questions you can give us a call at 785-749-3434 anytime M-F 11AM-4PM CST or email us at info@wakarusa.com

VIP TICKETS

What do VIP tickets include?
VIP tickets are all inclusive and come with: meals, beverage service, early arrival privileges (for VIP Full Event), bathroom and shower facilities, exclusive upfront viewing at the main stages, VIP pavilion and lounge, super friendly VIP staff to assist you with settling into the festival and free camping in the shaded VIP campground. Also, now VIP passholders will get free ferris wheel rides and a complimentary Wakarusa poster. You do not need to purchase any additional camping passes with VIP. Please visit our tickets page  for more information on VIP tickets.
Are children free in VIP?
No. Children are not free in VIP. Specially priced Children’s VIP Passes are available for ages 1-6 and 7-16. Adults ages 17 and older require a VIP Full Event Pass or VIP Three Day Pass. Please visit our tickets page  for VIP Children’s prices. VIP Children’s tickets are available for sale by phone only.

Do VIP tickets increase in price like Full Event Passes?
Yes. Get your VIP tickets early as they tend to sell out months in advance.

I have VIP tickets but my friend(s) do not. Can they camp with me in VIP? Can they visit my campground?
No. The VIP campground is a “gated community” in order to protect the many perks of the VIP Program: shaded camping, meals, beverage service, bathroom facilities, and VIP lounge. Only VIP Pass holders can enter the VIP campground. VIP Pass holders are more than welcome to camp with their friends in primitive, non-VIP camping.

I have VIP tickets; do I need to purchase any Camping or RV Unreserved Passes?
Please give the ladies at Pipeline Ticketing a call to discuss bringing a RV into VIP. We are open M-F 11am-4pm CST. You can reach us by phone at 785-749-3434 or email at info@wakarusa.com.

RVs

What do you consider an RV?

  • The following vehicles are considered an “RV,” and every “RV” entering the festival requires an RV Camping Pass:

    1. Class A RV
    2. Class B RV
    3. Class C RV
    4. Any size Bus
    5. Any vehicle wider or longer than a normal 15 passenger van
    6. Any vehicle towing a trailer, camper, RV or 5th wheel of any size. If you’re hitching anything, it’s an “RV.”
  • All “RVs” require an RV Unreserved Camping Pass or Reserved Campsite pass.  Please visit our tickets page for more information (Waka 2015 Ticket info Available Nov 7th!) in particular the “RV Camping Passes.”

Do I need an extra pass for my RV? Are there hookups available?
Yes. All vehicles considered an “RV” (see above question) require one of the following:

  • RV Unreserved Camping Pass
  • Reserved Campsite
  • VIP RV Reservation

All vehicles with an RV Unreserved Pass are required to park in the designated RV Unreserved Campground. Any vehicle that requires an RV Unreserved Pass but arrives on site with Main Venue, West Woods, Riverside or Accessible will be turned around, and sent back to the box office to acquire the correct camping pass. RV Unreserved does NOT include any water or electric hookups. Small or silent generators are allowed at all RV Unreserved campgrounds. “RV Unreserved @ Main Venue” and the “RV for VIP Reservation” can access the free water/dump station located on the Main Festival Venue. There are no water/dump stations for “RV Unreserved @ Riverside.” Please review our Reserved Campsites option for campsites with water and electric hookups. Visit our tickets page for more information underneath “RV Camping Passes.”

Treat your tickets as if they are cash. Lost or damaged tickets will NOT be reissued; this policy will be strictly enforced. Keep tickets in a cool, dry and safe place. Think about it: if you lose money after taking it out of the ATM, can you get new money from the bank? Nope.

My PrintPass did not arrive but I have a receipt, what should I do?
First, remain calm. Did you check your spam/junk folder? If your PrintPasses are not there either, do not fret as you have an order confirmation. DO NOT PURCHASE NEW TICKETS; YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR MAKING MULTIPLE ORDERS. Contact Pipeline Ticketing at (785) 749-3434, 11am-4pm CST, Monday-Friday, or info@wakarusa.com AT LEAST one week prior to the festival. Any ticket issues within 1 week of the festival need to be addressed at the on-site Box Office.

Yes. • Wakarusa has two Toll Booth/Box Offices: North and South.

Am I allowed to exit and re-enter the festival? Are gates open 24 hours?

  • Yes. You can enter and exit the festival, but please be advised that you will have to go through the security checkpoint each time.  Keep in mind that Mulberry Mountain is a very secluded and rural site with the closest town being 30 minutes away or further.
  • Gates are open 24 hours at Wakarusa.  In the event there is a safety concern, Wakarusa reserves the right to restrict traffic to a defined period during daylight hours.

What is your fine print?

  • “Wakarusa” includes Pipeline Productions Inc., OK Productions Inc., Mulberry Mountain Lodging and Events LLC, and their affiliates.  “Festival” includes the concerts and concert areas, stage areas, activities and activity areas, shopping areas, campgrounds, parking lots, and any other area or activity deemed as “festival” by Wakarusa.
  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL.  NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES for ANY REASON.  All acts, times and locations are subject to change without notice. You are buying ticket(s) to the festival, not to see a single band; artist cancellation of any kind is not grounds for a refund.  Festival is RAIN or SHINE; Wakarusa reserves the right to limit stage sets during severe weather. Your safety is our #1 concern.
  • PrintPass name changes are not allowed.  If you absolutely need to issue your tickets to someone else, then the entire order must be placed under Will Call and only one (1) Will Call name change is allowed.
  • Wakarusa has in-house photography and video staff roaming the festival grounds for footage. Ticket users consent to their image being used by Wakarusa, especially if you stop and pose for the media staff.
  • You exchange your ticket for a wristband; wristbands are VOID if removed, exchanged, transferred, tampered or altered in any way (including cutting off the excess fabric).  Counterfeited tickets and/or wristbands will be confiscated, and the persons holding, using, wearing or selling counterfeit ticket(s) and/or wristband(s) will be ejected from the festival and are subject to prosecution under local, state and federal laws.
  • Use caution when enjoying the many activities at the festival; participation in any activities are at your sole discretion.  Wakarusa cannot be held liable for any injuries or property damage that result from your participation in these activities.
  • All persons determined by Wakarusa to be acting in an illegal, offensive or disorderly fashion will be ejected from the festival without refund.  All persons and vehicles are subject to a security search for illegal or prohibited contraband.  If you are removed from the festival for any reason, you will not be allowed back into the festival even with the purchase of a new ticket.
  • The same people who operate all of Pipeline Ticketing are the same people who run the Box Office during the festival.  Any and all last minute ticket issues need to be addressed at the Box Office directly. “Last minute” includes trying to contact Pipeline Ticketing via phone or email from Saturday May 30th through Sunday June 7th, and “ticket issues” includes anything related to tickets, purchased tickets, and attempted ticket purchases to the Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival.  While we at Pipeline Ticketing have every intention to answer the phones and email account during the festival, it is NOT guaranteed as we are busy running the Wakarusa Box Offices. All ticket sales are final!  There are no refunds for “I tried to get a hold of you, but no one answered.”  Come see us at the Box Office, we’re there to help you!
