Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers are a searing rock & roll foursome that have achieved independent recording success and fierce fan loyalty. They are one of the most popular touring bands today and their music is praised by critics nationwide with every album release. The Peacemakers are the only independent band to debut in the top 10 of Billboard’s Internet Sales chart with five consecutive albums, including two #1 entries. And many people may not realize this, but Clyne’s music has been heard by millions around the globe. That’s because he is the musical genius who penned the theme song to the animated TV show “King of the Hill” and it is his and his earlier band The Refreshments’ performance of the song that is heard on the program’s opening credits. After they disbanded, Clyne and Refreshments drummer P.H. Naffah remained compadres and eventually formed Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, which now includes bassist Nick Scropos and guitarist Steve Larson.
