Moonshine Still

Moonshine Still was conceived in the summer of 1996 when lead singer/guitarist Scott Baston and bass player Ray Petren tapped fellow Macon, GA musician Will Robinson to play drums and provide vocals. Shortly after their first studio release, the band added Bill Jarrett on percussion and David Shore on guitar. With the addition of these two adept players, along with the discovery of the final musical piece in Trippe Wright on keyboards, Moonshine Still now had a rock solid rhythm section, soaring guitars and keyboards, and powerful vocals to match. Moonshine Still can easily move from metal to soul to reggae to klesmer to techno, and many other places on the musical map. Since the band has come together they have found themselves at the top of the scene in the Southeast selling out the Georgia Theater in Athens, GA and playing a slew of festivals across the country. In addition, Moonshine Still has received a Jammy nomination in the category of “Best New Groove.”
