New to 2013! Fire Safety Training

If you plan on spinning fire at Wakarusa,
then you must attend one Fire Safety Meeting held 6:00 pm daily at the Pyramid of Life.
The Pyramid is located in the Main Stage concert field.
At this brief 30-minute Fire Safety Meeting, you will review fire safety procedures, meet other fire spinners, and receive an official Fire Bracelet from Wakarusa. You must have a Fire Bracelet in order to spin fire at Wakarusa, or else you risk having your fire spinning equipment confiscated. Fire spinning is allowed only in the designated areas marked by rope lights at the main and side stages, and you must be wearing your Fire Bracelet in order to spin. Thank you for your safety and cooperation.
Click here to download our Fire Safety Handout. If you have any fire safety tips you think may be missing, don’t hesitate to email: missedconcept@gmail.com. The 2 amazing fire pics above are of the Fire Technicians, one of many performance troupes at Waka 2013!
