When the Booty Band hits the stage, everybody dances! Having fun and feeling good is the philosophy of this Asheville, NC based 6 piece band that has been hitting the road since 2002. Their mix of triumphant horns, laid-back grooves, and heavy backbeats is what has carried them back and forth across the nation, from club to club, smiling face to smiling face, day to day, note to note. Adding colorful costumes and interactive stage personalities is just part of the show,…Booty Band brings the FUNK!

As you Bounce down the rhythmical hallways of Booty Band world, you will notice bouquets of exotic horn arrangements, guitar licks that will lead in almost any direction, a heavy over all presence of bass and thunderous rhythms with thick synth and organ sounds floating throughout the atmosphere. You will hear music ranging from thick New Orleans style brass fueled fire breathing funk to laid back Sunday Afternoon dub reggae. Hip Hop, Afro Beat, Latin, Jazz and Rock ‘n’ Roll cannot be excluded from the session, and have it known that at any time band members have been known to change up instruments, styles, pants or anything they feel like changing up to add that special Booty Band twist to any performance. Don’t expect your feet to get any rest!
