GEM
Gem is a live funk electronic group from Lawrence, Kansas. They formed in October 08’ and soon after played at an event called Critical Mass at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, sharing the stage with many national touring acts. Gem blends jazzy spaced out guitar, Motown style funk bass, snappy break-beat drums, airy thick keyboard sounds with the occasional bass bomb, and assaults of African percussion and hand drums.
